Outplacement Services
With the advent of corporate
downsizing, the needs of displaced workers grow. Employees are
at the least being shifted from one set of responsibilities to
others, and the real potential exists that more and more
employees will have the need to seek assistance in obtaining
other avenues of employment. In other words, they could be
"right sized" out of a job.
The Institute for Executive Consultation provides
comprehensive career guidance services for those employees who
might be in line for changes in their job responsibilities or
displaced from an organization. We assess the individual’s
strengths and weakness, administer career inventories,
personality assessments and aptitude tests. We provide
counseling and assist with realistic goal setting to manage the
information from these assessments, in addition to providing
help with resume writing and interview skill training.
After completion of the career guidance services, the
individual will have the tools and understanding regarding their
interests and directions to take for future employment
opportunities.
On the organizational level, our services for the employer
include assistance in the reorganization process and procedures
of restructuring. We can perform an analysis and make
recommendations of staffing needs. Additionally, we can work
with the "remaining" staff after a downsizing effort
to minimize conflict, manage stress and maintain a healthy,
productive environment. |
