Understanding the impact of our communication to others is
critical in both the work and home environments.
There are key elements to having an effective communication
style. Learning how to reframe so one can effectively supervise
and manage employees will be taught as well as learning how to
listen and understand what is being communicated. Attendees will
be taught to understand the differences in being assertive
versus aggressive. We will also teach the significance of body
language and it’s impact on the message being delivered.
The workshop will teach effective listening skills.
Additionally, the participants will learn the importance of open
ended dialogue. "I" communication, avoiding the word
"you" and the use of appropriate eye contact.
Multicultural nuances will be addressed as they pertain to
effective communication. The workshop will tech participants the
art of persuasion by focusing on teaching the speaker to focus
on what the listener wants to hear, the effect of positive,
energetic speaking, and the power of using clear, precise and
distinct expressions to get your point across and understood by
the listener. The workshop will use role playing, audio visual
and written tools to accomplish these goals.
